Amber Rambo

Amber is the "A" in A.G. Artisan Finishes, and is co-owner with Gary Laity. Amber is a certified American Clay applicator, and is also authorized to co-teach clay plaster workshops, as well as provide consulting and new dealer sales training for American Clay in multiple states. Amber is also a certified Feng Shui consultant and is the former founding chairperson of the West Reading, Pennsylvania Environmental Advisory Council.

Gary Laity

Gary is the "G" in A.G. Artisan Finishes, and is co-owner with Amber Rambo. Gary has been in the painting and wall finishing business for over twenty five years. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 with a B.A. in Architectural Studies, and went on to become co-owner of Laity Painting and then G.R. Laity until 2011. Gary is a certified American Clay applicator, and is also certified to teach clay plaster workshops, as well as provide consulting and new dealer sales training for American Clay in multiple states.

In January 2012 we changed our name from "g.r. Laity LLC" to A.G. Artisan Finishes to more fully embody not only the evolution of our craft, but also the progress of our partnership.

Over the past couple years our business has been blessed with opportunities that have allowed us to more fully express our commitment to using natural, earth-friendly materials in our work.

In the summer of 2011 we began taking steps to broaden our services to work on straw bale homes and pursue new avenues to bring eco-mindful materials to our community.
